Become an IDT member

The SNAP Instrument Development Team's mission is to develop the high-pressure instrumentation capabilities to facilitate new, world-leading neutron science.  Membership is open to any high-pressure, or neutron instrumentation expert, who is prepared to devote their time and effort to a development project. In order to become a member, please send an email stating your interest, your background and why you wish to become part of the team.

Membership of the IDT provides a route to accessing development beamtime, which is allocated using the SNS/HFIR proposal system (see instructions to submit a proposal including how to set up an IPTS account). Proposals should be submitted by selecting the "Partner User/IDT" option in the proposal type box.
